Jonathan, Becky and Isaac
cour·age: noun
strength in the face of pain or grief
This is how the Oxford Dictionary defines courage. If you are pregnant and considering adoption, you have it. We know this because you are here, reading these words. Whether you decide to parent or choose adoption, you are facing the hard stuff, staying open, and making impossible decisions.
That is courage.
What Adoption Means to Us
Hello, Becky here. It's impossible to talk about adoption and our family without a little bit of history. So here goes :)
When I was 16, I learned that I would never be able to get pregnant. From the start, Jonathan and I knew that adoption
was how we would build our family and it felt right.
Adoption has been the biggest blessing in our life. Adoption led us to the 4 year old that means more to us than anything. Adoption gave us Isaac's birth family; people we love dearly. We dream of the day that adoption brings another sweet little
one into our family.
We have an open adoption with our son's birth family. We cherish each and every park play date and Chuck E. Cheese visit!
We would love to talk with you about the kind of relationship you are considering with your baby's adoptive family. Whether
we see you several times a year, send updates through a family member, or something in between... your baby will
always know of your love.
