Twelve years ago (!!) we began our junior year at the University of Minnesota and our very own great love story. A matchmaking friend made sure we ran into each other at a party and we had our first date four days later over cheeseburgers and malts. The rest, as they say, is history!

Man's Best Friend

After one year as newlyweds, we brought THIS guy home! Cody is the happiest, most energetic chocolate Lab you have ever met.
His hobbies include chasing tennis balls for hours, swimming in the freezing cold waters of Lake Superior, and eating books.
To Have and to Hold
September, 2005
We were married in Upper Michigan, close to the shores of Lake Superior. Surrounded by family and friends, it was an unforgettable day. The evening ended with the most amazing show of Northern Lights we have ever seen!
Although our wedding day was incredible, it is the nine years since that we cherish more than anything. Over a decade has passed since we became best friends and our love is stronger and deeper than we could have ever imagined.
A Growing Family
July, 2010
In the summer of 2010, Jonathan and I packed up the car and headed north for a weekend of camping. Somewhere on 35W, we got the call that changed our lives. A brave woman chose us to parent her baby boy.
The nine days before Isaac was born were a beautiful whirlwind that we could write pages and pages about. Being parents is more than we ever imagined and we can't wait to add another little one to our family!
